Store Editor

The Store Editor allows you to manage all items that viewers can purchase in your RimWorld game. Configure prices, availability, and purchase limits for weapons, apparel, resources, and more.

Quick Access

  1. Menu Bar: Click RICS button โ†’ "Store Editor"
  2. Game Events Tab: Mod Settings โ†’ RICS โ†’ Game Events & Cooldowns โ†’ "Store Editor" button

  • Search Bar: Filter items by name, category, or mod source
  • Sort Buttons: Organize by Name, Price, or Category (click to toggle ascending/descending)
  • Category Sidebar: Browse items by type (Weapons, Apparel, Resources, etc.)

โš™๏ธ Bulk Actions Toolbar

  • Reset All: Restore all items to default prices
  • Enable โ†’: Bulk enable items (all, by category, or by type)
  • Disable โ†’: Bulk disable items (all, by category, or by type)
  • Quality/Research: Open quality and research restrictions

Each item row displays:

  • Icon: Item preview with info card button
  • Item Info: Name, category, and mod source
  • Enabled: Toggle item availability in store
  • Type: Usable/Wearable/Equippable classification
  • Price: Set custom price with reset option
  • Quantity: Set purchase limits and stack controls

Item Availability

  • Enabled Checkbox: Make item available for purchase
  • Bulk Operations: Enable/disable entire categories or item types

Item Types

  • Usable: Consumables like food, medicine, drugs
  • Wearable: Apparel and armor
  • Equippable: Weapons and tools

Pricing System

  • Base Price: Custom price for viewers (default: 1.67x market value)
  • Reset Button: Restore to default calculated price
  • Auto-save: Changes save immediately

Quantity Limits

  • Enable Limits: Restrict how many can be purchased
  • Stack Presets: Quick set to 1, 3, or 5 stacks
  • Manual Input: Custom quantity limit (1-9999)
  • Bulk Controls: Set limits for all visible items

Enable/Disable Items

Enable โ†’ Menu Options:

  • Enable All Items
  • Enable by Category (Weapons, Apparel, Resources, etc.)
  • Enable by Type (All Weapons, All Apparel, All Usable Items)

Disable โ†’ Menu Options:

  • Disable All Items
  • Disable by Category
  • Disable by Type

Quantity Management

Bulk Quantity Controls (appear when items are visible):

  • Toggle All: Enable/disable limits for all visible items
  • Stack Presets: Set all to 1x, 3x, or 5x stack limits
  • Applies to: Only currently filtered/visible items

Price Management

  • Reset All Prices: Restore all items to default pricing formula
  • Individual Reset: Per-item reset to calculated default

  • All: Complete item list
  • Apparel: Clothing and armor
  • Children's Apparel: Child-sized clothing
  • Weapons: Melee and ranged weapons
  • Resources: Raw materials and components

  • Buildings: Structures and furniture
  • And more...: Automatically categorized by mod

Category Features

  • Item Counts: Shows enabled/total items per category
  • Quick Filtering: Click any category to filter items
  • Bulk Operations: Enable/disable entire categories

Def Information Window

  • Access: Click any item icon
  • Shows: Detailed technical information about the item
  • Includes: Base game stats, mod data, store configuration

Quality & Research Settings

  • Access: "Quality/Research" button in toolbar
  • Configure: Item quality restrictions and research requirements
  • Control: Game progression and tech gating

Search Functionality

  • Search Fields: Name, category, mod source
  • Real-time Filtering: Updates as you type
  • Case Insensitive: No need for exact capitalization

For New Streams

  1. Start with basic categories enabled (Apparel, Weapons, Food)
  2. Use default prices initially
  3. Enable quantity limits for balance
  4. Gradually expand as economy stabilizes

  • Disable game-breaking items

Auto-Save System

  • Price Changes: Save immediately
  • Bulk Operations: Save after completion
  • Window Close: Final save on close
  • Manual Save: Not required - automatic

Game Requirements

  • Must have: Loaded game save
  • Mod Items: Only shows items from active mods
  • DLC Items: Respects DLC ownership

Technical Limits

  • Price Range: 0 - 1,000,000 coins
  • Quantity Limits: 1 - 9,999 items
  • Performance: Large item lists may load slowly
