Thank you for switching from std to core, that’s a subtle yet important improvement for no_std compatibility, which I forgot about.

However, could you clarify why you applied the 2024 edition formatting?
The crate’s Cargo.toml currently specifies edition = "2021", and CI runs cargo fmt accordingly. I am asking to see if I should use 2024-style formatting for my next PRs.

Take a look at the cargo.toml again mate, it definitely says edition = "2024"

Was changed with this pr: #356
