  • Refactored out common Kafka client properties, including new SSL properties.
  • Added slf4j for current / future debugging purposes, useful Kafka auth errors weren't showing up without it.

Required for upcoming PR for ENTMQSTFL-251.

Existing tests passed with streams-e2e on my machine.
