Calling this plugin QOL is a huge stretch but I also don't think it should be moving game windows like it does

Calling this plugin QOL is a huge stretch but I also don't think it should be moving game windows like it does

I understand that “QoL” can be subjective and depends on the user’s needs. For some players, such as GE flippers, being able to reposition interfaces is a quality-of-life improvement because it allows visibility of underlying game elements without altering gameplay.

The plugin only repositions existing interfaces and does not automate actions, expose hidden information, modify game logic, or bypass any restrictions. UI customization of this kind is considered acceptable under Jagex’s third-party guidelines and aligns with existing RuneLite QoL plugins.

We talked about the moving stuff a little more internally and we believe it's fine for now. I could certainly see Jagex not liking it but I do not have a crystal ball, what I do have is two documents (our rejected list and the 3pc statement from Jagex) that say what is not allowed and this is not on either of those.

Also surely there is a way you can do this repositioning stuff better and in a way that lets you share code. If you update this later to add more movable interfaces and you keep just straight duping this thing you're doing in overlay that's going to be extremely obnoxious to review.
