  • Change is either:
    • To a Draft PEP
    • To an Accepted or Final PEP, with Steering Council approval
    • To fix an editorial issue (markup, typo, link, header, etc)
  • PR title prefixed with PEP number (e.g. PEP 123: Summary of changes)

  • Add a PyThreadRef parameter to PyThreadState_Ensure and PyThreadState_Release.
  • Rename the PEP to "Interpreter References", alongside removing the (confusing) usage of "native thread". I think this is a good short and sweet title, something like "Attaching Thread States via Interpreter References" felt too long and redundant to me.
