So sorry I let this slip and didn't do it here, thank you for handling it and for the help in the whole process @JelleZijlstra. 🙌 (I also missed this GitHub notification ...but I miss them all 😅 ) 2025-10-24 update: for FastAPI and friends, I published and started using https://github.com/fastapi/annotated-doc to achieve this as a third-party package. |

@tiangolo agreed to withdraw the PEP in emails last year, but this never happened. Let's clean it up.
