thanks for great code!
I've been using this module by having the compatibility code of your Synopsis in a new module, Plack::Middleware::Deflater::Compat. It makes using this a little easier and makes app.psgi more readable.
Also, I added a link to Github so that others can find the module and contribute more easily.
