What's changed?

The version of byte buddy is now being upgraded further to 1.17.+ which is Java 25 compatible

What's your motivation?

Seeing issues in a Java 25 migration

Checklist

I've added unit tests to cover both positive and negative cases
I've read and applied the recipe conventions and best practices
I've used the IntelliJ IDEA auto-formatter on affected files

Look good to me. I assume you checked the Byte Buddy compatibility with Mockito 6.

Do we have documented what the issue was?

Latest version of mockito ships with byte buddy 1.17.7: https://github.com/mockito/mockito/blob/main/gradle/libs.versions.toml#L2

Problem is class version incompatibility, the specific case I saw was byte buddy accepting up to and including 66 (java 22) but using java 25 so compiling to 69
