We already exclude the Packages folder. But bits were copied from there to WindowsAppSDK.Test.NetCore folder like this:

Copying file from "C:\__w\1\s\Packages\microsoft.netcore.app.runtime.win-x86\6.0.22\runtimes\win-x86\native\api-ms-win-core-console-l1-1-0.dll" to "C:\__w\1\s\BuildOutput\Release\x86\WindowsAppSDK.Test.NetCore\net6\api-ms-win-core-console-l1-1-0.dll".

Therefore, adding WindowsAppSDK.Test.NetCore\net* to the exclusion list.

How tested:

  • A private pipeline run of the Foundation nightly pipeline verified that no BinSkim warnings from the WindowsAppSDK.Test.NetCore folder appeared in the warnings list on the build results page.

A microsoft employee must use /azp run to validate using the pipelines below.
