This makes it easier to connect nodes
ctr-x like in Blender, it will move the in connection to the out connection when you remove the node.

And the best feature:
Dragging out from a node will add the quick search menu and then auto connect.
I also tried to make the hotzone bigger but I think this maybe interferes
with other parts of the interface so it should probably be scaled down.
