Summary of Changes

Hello @itsjustkevin, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request enhances the Flutter documentation by integrating the upcoming 3.41.0 release notes and introducing a clear, forward-looking public release schedule for 2026. The changes aim to provide the community with better visibility into release cycles and branch cutoff dates, facilitating more effective planning and coordination for feature development and integration.

Highlights

  • Release Schedule Transparency: A new section titled 'Public release windows' has been added to src/content/install/archive.md, detailing the 2026 release schedule for Flutter versions (3.41, 3.44, 3.47, 3.50), including their release targets and branch cutoff dates to improve predictability for the community.
  • Flutter 3.41 Release Notes Integration: The src/content/release/release-notes/index.md file has been updated to include a new entry for Flutter 3.41.0, providing direct links to its announcement, comprehensive release notes, and a list of breaking changes and migration guides.
  • Documentation Cleanup: Commented-out lines related to Flutter 3.38.0 announcement and release notes have been removed from src/content/release/release-notes/index.md, streamlining the document and ensuring only active links are present.

🧠 New Feature in Public Preview: You can now enable Memory to help Gemini Code Assist learn from your team's feedback. This makes future code reviews more consistent and personalized to your project's style. Click here to enable Memory in your admin console.

Changelog
  • src/content/install/archive.md
    • Added a new section 'Public release windows' explaining the importance of predictability and branch cutoff dates.
    • Included a '2026 Schedule' table outlining Flutter versions (3.41, 3.44, 3.47, 3.50) with their respective release targets and branch cutoff dates.
  • src/content/release/release-notes/index.md
    • Inserted a new entry for '3.41.0' with links to its announcement, release notes, and breaking changes/migrations.
    • Updated the '3.38.0' entry by removing commented-out lines and ensuring it links to its release notes and breaking changes.
    • Added new link definitions for '3.41.0 announcement', '3.41.0 release notes & change log', and '3.41.0 breaking changes & migrations' at the end of the file.
Activity
  • The pull request is marked as '[WIP]' (Work In Progress), indicating that it is not yet finalized and may undergo further changes.
  • The author noted that 'Links may not work', suggesting that the provided links for the 3.41.0 release might still be placeholders or require verification.

@parlough I haven't gotten around to upping my Jaspr skills yet. Not urgent, but I plan to prettify the release date table in the future when I get some breathing room.

Thanks for the release notes and the super exciting addition of an explicitly outlined schedule.

A few small comments/suggestions, but looks good to me.

@sfshaza2 and @parlough there is a broken link here somewhere and the logs aren't exactly helpful. Are there other logs I could check out?

@itsjustkevin, the "Archived release notes" link wasn't defined. I've fixed it.

Some text had things that looked like links that were not actually links. Removed these.
Hopefully will fix the link break issue.
