Split monolithic skill docs into 7 self-contained skill files: search, scrape, map, crawl, agent, browser, download. Each has YAML frontmatter, quick start examples, options table, tips, and cross-references to sibling skills.
rewrite all 8 skill descriptions from passive ("Firecrawl search — web
search with optional scraping") to pushy, user-intent-driven framing
that explicitly lists trigger phrases and anti-default context.
eval results: search 8/8, browser 8/8, download 8/8, scrape 7/8,
map 7/8, crawl 7/8, agent 6/8, hub 14/16.
Without -y, npx prompts "Need to install the following packages: skills. Ok to proceed?" which hangs in scripts and CI.
npx -y firecrawl-cli -y now runs the full non-interactive setup: install globally, browser auth, install all skills to all agents.
