Summary

  • Marks Gordon as GA: removes the Beta badge and `availability: Beta` from the summary bar
  • Updates the subscriber access note — Gordon is now available to all Docker accounts; Business admins control org-wide access via Admin Console (drops the beta-era "contact Support" activation step)
  • Replaces all "Beta features" settings references with the "AI" section (`docker-desktop.md`, `cli.md`, `data-privacy.md`)
  • Adds new `usage-limits.md` page covering Base/Plus/Max/Ultra plans, approximate question limits per time window, the Docker Desktop usage indicator, and the free docs.docker.com Gordon
  • Documents contextual help entrypoints (Gordon icon) from the Containers, Images, and Builds views in Docker Desktop

TODO: Determine where to link users for upgrading/pricing — `usage-limits.md` currently links to docker.com generically; we need a specific pricing or account page URL.

Assessment: 🟢 APPROVE

The GA release documentation updates for Gordon look clean and well-executed:

  • Beta badge and availability: Beta removed consistently across all files
  • Subscriber access note updated accurately (Gordon now available to all accounts; Business admins control org-wide access via Admin Console)
  • "Beta features" → "AI" settings section updated in all three relevant files (data-privacy.md, cli.md, docker-desktop.md)
  • Image renames are consistent — all references updated to match new filenames
  • New usage-limits.md page has correct front matter, valid shortcode, and clear tables
  • data/summary.yaml edit is appropriate (root-level manually maintained file)
  • No pages removed without redirects; no vendored files touched
  • No AI-generated style issues detected

@dvdksn a couple of comments

  • version required should be DD 4.74 (next monday) - OR if we delay for the 25th - DD 4.75
  • The use-case section should provide examples in the GUI first, and then the ones in the CLI - I would also add TUI if we have time - atm all the examples focus on sending a single prompt instead of starting a conversation
  • Data privacy - for the personal subscirption - should add anonumized conversation threads
  • How-to Docker DEsktop - missing the entry points
