Firstly - thank you for Audacity, and for audacity-project-tools, it just saved my life.
I've successfully used
audacity-project-toolsthis to recover a corrupted project on MacOS. The 1.0.5 release appears to have added support for MacOS. This PR updates the documentation page with instructions for MacOS usage. It also updates the warning note that previously said MacOS isn't supported - I've said that it's supported on Apple Silicon but not Intel. This is just a guess based on audacity/audacity-project-tools#14.The new instructions are very similar to the instructions for the other OSs, I've just updated keyboard shortcut names, etc., to be consistent with MacOS. (So, e.g.,
returninstead ofEnter.)Please note that the first command,
drop_autosave, fixed the issue for me, so I haven't tested the subsequent commands. I also did not see the message to upgrade to Audacity 3.0.0, so I have removed that from the MacOS instructions - I'm guessing that's a fairly old instruction.
