In the pull_request_target workflow, removing checkout leaves this step running in an empty $GITHUB_WORKSPACE, but the command still passes only a PR number. The GitHub CLI docs for gh pr merge show -R/--repo as the way to select a repository, and gh help environment says GH_REPO is needed for commands that otherwise operate on a local repository; without either a checkout, GH_REPO, --repo, or a full PR URL, Weblate PRs opened after this change will fail before enabling automerge.
