Alright in attempt to further corrupt this tool you have poured countless hours into, here is a non-regex engine:) This adds XPATH and css query selector pattern support.
I totally get if this doesn't fit but it was ridiculously easy to modify it to work with these alternate pattern forms and I found quite useful.
Here is the changes just for html agility: mitchcapper/RegExpress@more_improvements...html_agility_engine
