This Scripted REST API returns basic user information (name, title, department, location) based on an email address passed as a query parameter.

🛠 Setup Instructions

1. Create a new Scripted REST API with namespace x_userinfo.
2. Add a resource with path /get_user and method GET.
3. Paste the provided script into the resource script field.

We already have a Table API, which can be used to query and get the sys_user table details.

using sysparm_fields, only required fields data can be retrieved.

At Hactoberfest, we aim for high quality code that's beneficial for open source.
Please resubmit dynamic use cases/context for the Hactoberfest.
