Uploading Data

Upload - Instructions

1. You must sign in to upload data.
2. After successfully signing in, click on Upload in the navigation menu at the top right of the page.
3. Before uploading your CSV file, make sure that your file adheres to the import configuration. You can do this by downloading and using the CSV template files.
4. In the Upload Data section, click the Choose File button to select a file from your computer. Click the Upload button to begin the upload process.
5. The second page will display the number of headers that the system has read. Click the Next button to continue.
6. The third page will display the number of rows the system has counted in your file. Click the Next button to continue.
7. Select Tree of Sex in the Config drop down menu and click the Begin Import button.
8. Click the Reload button to complete header validation.
9. If headers are successfully validated, click the Next button.
10. Click the Reload button to complete row parsing.
11. The top of the page will display any problems the system found with your file. At the bottom of this page is a set of buttons:

• Download Issues as CSV - Download the entire chart displayed on the page
• Download # of problematic records - Download a CSV file containing just the records in which the system found problems
• Import valid records - Continue the upload process by importing the records in which there were no problems
• Discard dataset - Delete your data and end the upload process

1. After clicking the Import button, click the Reload button.
2. After your data has been imported, click the Done button.
