my name is Marcel, and I'm a software engineer located in southern Germany.
I really managed to make my hobby become my job. Personally, for me, software engineering is not only about coding, but it is also about:

- taking over responsibility
- challenging next steps
My biggest passion goes to backend and highly available distributed systems. Resources aren't infinite, and I really love to dig down deepest and get more out of the system. I believe in true end-to-end ownership, not just writing code, but designing, testing, deploying, operating, and continuously improving it in production within a connected team. Finally, that's what doesn't make work actually feel like work, right?
