For large datasets output uses a raster format (png) instead of vector format (pdf). This improves rendering times for the resulting graphs. Encountered excessivly long rendering times when exploring a dataset with 1.5 million images and using pdf format. The rendering time for raster format is invariant to the number of points in the scatter plot.
