Hi! My name is Miriam Jorna. I am onboarding as a trainee in the Code Your Future ITP programme in the London January 2026 cohort.
</p>
<p>
My favourite sportive activity is <a href="https://www.parkrun.org.uk/" target="_new">>parkrun</a>. It's a free weekly 5 km running/walking activity every Saturday at 9am. It's as much about community as it is about exercise.
</p>

My favourite food is guacamole. (My actual answer would be chocolate but that's probably not a proper food)

There are lots of different music styles and songs that I like so the next question was a difficult one. At the moment this one feels appropriate: Janis Joplin's <b><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jjHw_FJySg4" target="_blank">Try (Just a Little Bit Harder)</a></b>.

An interesting fact about myself? I really hate rankings for non-competitive subjects! Chalk and cheese, most often. Generalisations, by their very nature, overlook important details. Sometimes necessary but very often a sad loss.

However the request was to write an <i>impressive</i> fact. Well, they say that trying to organise smart people is very similar to herding cats... I have been a board member of Mensa in two different countries (on two continents).
