router query not documented

Router is documented but ? query paramters are unclear/ never handled in the router docs

AFAIU, there is already a section that explains about query parameters. I believe this issue is more of an improvement in the docs, for example by adding an example gist.

that's so true. I actually looked at the PR and requested that section of the docs last year (#3565) 😅
This issue dates after that too.
It seems like they either missed the section or were unsastified with the quality.
