Remember about the long haul

I want to just remind everyone that this project will be more interesting in the long haul and I encourage you to play the patience game a bit. Small pull requests that provide interesting small functionality and additions that make the project more robust are super useful. The early energy to pull together massive PRs to knock out big amounts of functionality were good things to get the project going, but in the long run it could burn people out (including me).

And remember, don't be beholden to the current direction. This project could be anything, but I will favor changes that make it easier for more people to contribute.
