Root detection is too sensitive on old iOS versions #145

Description

Hello Talsec team,

Thank you for your work and support

Describe the bug
Previously, we had Talsec PremiumRASP implemented in our app. A few days ago, we replaced it with freeRASP, as our PremiumRASP subscription had expired.

After releasing the new update, we noticed that some devices that were working fine in the previous version are now being detected as jailbroken.

All affected devices appear to be running older iOS versions. After customers contacted our support team, the issue was resolved once they updated their devices.

I have attached log snippets from our backend containing information about the affected devices. There are more devices all with similar characteristics. In the images, the "systemVersion" is the iOS version of the device.

To Reproduce
Run the freeRASP SDK in devices running old iOS versions

Expected behavior
A non-jailbroken device could be reported as jailbroken

Screenshots

Please complete the following information:

  • Device: iPhones and iPads
  • OS version: iOS 15 and iOS 16
  • Version of freeRASP: 4.5.0
