Synchronization broken after update to SumatraPDF v3.6.1 from v3.5.2

Describe the bug

• I'm using SumatraPDF together with Sublime Text 4 with the LaTeXTools extension for LaTeX document authoring.
• After updating SumatraPDF from v3.5.2 to v3.6.1, the LaTeX backward synchronization from SumatraPDF into Sublime Text no longer works: SumatraPDF now gives the error "No synchronization info at this position".

Additional context

• I'm not using any non-ASCII characters in my paths/filenames like described in the similar issue Forward and Backward synchronizations failed when path contains non-ASCII characters #5410.
• The LaTeXTools plugin successfully finds the SumatraPDF.exe of the new version 3.6.1, just as before.
• Restarting my computer, or trying completely new LaTeX projects doesn't help.
• When I uninstall SumatraPDF v3.6.1, and instead install the older SumatraPDF v3.5.2, everything works again as expected.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Setup Sublime Text 4 with LaTeXTools extension.
2. Install SumatraPDF v3.6.1
3. Compile LaTeX document.
4. In SumatraPDF, open the associated PDF file and double click on text to use the syncing feature.
5. Error: "No synchronization info at this position".

Expected behavior

• Double-click in SumatraPDF should jump to the associated line in of the source code in the text editor, just as it used to in SumatraPDF v3.5.2

Hmm others said the same and thus use portable 32 bit as a workaround see #5504 the issue is usually a combination of the format synctex writes for the different 15 settings and how installed SumatraPDF 64 bit handles them.

Personally can usually resolve as using portables for most tests but latest pre-release installed 3.7 64 bit works well for me as does 3.6.1 32 bit on Windows 7 both using windows notepad as test bed.

Thank you for the quick reply and sorry I didn't notice the similar issue #5504!
I'm totally fine with just using v3.5.2 for now. I just wanted to report it as I didn't find an issue for this problem when searching for "sync".

If I run MiTeX supplied editor and viewer it works exactly the same as SumatraPDF plus Notepad because it is using a GZ file but 32 bit installed will complain no sync but that becase the file is not a synctex file in the folder but if I unpack in that folder I get the windows 5 problem the TEX file is NOT windows Notepad format ! That is because the Windows 10 compiler left the file in Unix Format and Windows 7 does not understand those line feeds as they are not DOS CRLF. The editor and the viewer and synctex are not aligned for such abuse. the TEX AND EDITOR must be compatible (ideally Windows CRLFso I set TeXWorks to CRLF and 7 stops complaining) and set the Syntex as uncompressed in same folder as the other 2 files then all my mixes seem to work across the network in any folder.

Can you provide detailed, step-by-step instructions for that?

And a sample latex document and instructions how to trigger the issue with sumatra.
