Latest version fails to compile.

When I try to compile or cross compile I get this error: 'dart compile' does not support build hooks, use 'dart build' instead.

It seems caused by /hooks.

What I'm supposed to do now?

What command that fails are you running exactly? And why is dart build not an option for you?

Myabe I wrong, but dart build doesn't generate an executable while dart compile yes.

For the moment I use sqlite3: ^1.5.1 which doesn't have this problem.

It does? You can run dart build cli --target <your dart file> -o out. Then, out/bundle/bin/main is a compiled executable while out/bundle/lib contains necessary libraries.

You should at least use ^2.9.4.

Closing since dart build appears to be the replacement for dart compile when hooks are used.

But let me know if you need more help using the output of dart build cli. If you share more details about how you're using the executable (is this a docker image?) I can show you how to migrate from dart compile exe to dart build cli.
