Description

Some internal C calls to PyObject_CallFunction() are passing an extra NULL
argument that is not described by the format string. This is a misuse of the
API and can be undefined behavior if the implementation of PyObject_CallFunction
changes in the future.

The code in question is from a long time ago, I don't think is necessary as there is quite a lot of code which passes extra NULLs in third party projects and the implementation is unlikely to change.
