Standardised discovery of multiple publiccode.yml projects from a single URL #291

@adulau

Description

@adulau

We intend to use publiccode.yml across our different websites, particularly our main website, to list and expose all the open source software we actively develop.

While reviewing the specification, we looked for guidance on how to publish a list of projects at the root of a website or under .well-known/, but could not find any clear mechanism or example addressing this use case.

We have read the documentation, yet it remains unclear whether exposing a catalogue of multiple projects from a single URL is supported or envisioned by the specification.

This question is related to issue #215 which was for another open source project which we already maintain.

From an adoption perspective, defining a standardised way to expose the set of public open source projects maintained by an organisation at a given URL would significantly lower the barrier to building automated catalogues and discovery tools, and would meaningfully strengthen the ecosystem around the standard.
