header protocol also includes original data type

We should definitely map image/jpeg and other image/\* types. 

Since we could store arbitrary data in this format, perhaps we could delineate the type or sequence number, etc. in the header as well.

o Decoder protocol.
o Payload type.
o Payload sequence number.
