PostgreSQL 18 support

Hi,

I want to insall pgRouting extension on PG18 rc1, but don't know which version of pgRouting shall I choose.
I searched in release notes and didn't find answer. So I create this issue for a query: which version of pgRouting supports PG18 rc1? thanks, yuanyl

You should use the latest stable tagged version - https://github.com/pgRouting/pgrouting/releases/tag/v3.8.0

Keep in mind that we will be release pgrouting 4.0.0 soon

Compared with pgrouting 3.8, what new functionaltiy will be released in pgrouting 4.0.0? We are planning our project ivorysql v5.0 which is based on pg18. If pgrouting 4.0.0 release date can catch our publishing time, we will integrate pgrouting 4.0.0 with ivorysql v5.0. BTW, when pgrouting 4.0.0 will be released? I am still unable to see its information in changelog or release notes
