Summary

While doing the development of the v2.0 of Minato Namikaze , discord.py was discontinued and I had to switch over to Stocker's MC discord.py , but after 6 months the original discord.py continued its development again, so here is the beta release of v2.0 and the full complete release of v2.0 will be released after the d.py v2.0 gets pushed into pypi.

Also we did a switch over from Heroku to Oracle VPS.

I've something to suggest related to future development. Since we all are aware of the thing going with disocrd.py. And in the discord.py server, he wasn't sure about the continuation of the development of lib in the future. And this (personally) makes me insecure to use discord.py any further.

So I suggest using pycord for future development. As you know, for UI stuff (buttons, modals, slash &), almost every lib has its own way, and I personally find this pycord much easy to go along. And this is the only fork of discord.py with the highest number of stars.. so basically, it means that it's doing good when compared to others.

So yeah, just a suggestion. But lmk what you think 👀

its ext.commands and slash at the same time i believe, it doesnt make too much sense as slash commands are half forced and users will be using slash commands predominately when the time comes; discord turns on message content enforcing for verified bots

if its a migration tool, why? theyre separate systems entirely and youre holding yourself back from special slash features such as multiple optionals in any order, ranges, choices, autocomplete etc etc

Afaik hybrid commands will register text commands if you have the intent with slash commands and if you don't have the intent then just slash (correct me if I'm wrong). So its pretty useful because, if I don't have the intent right now and I get it later I won't have to rewrite them (Again, do correct me if I'm wrong). As for your comment on slash features, hybrid commands will convert arguments to be usable in slash commands and text commands.
