Some files are sent to the server as .bin files.

I noticed that some files lose their original extension and are sent as .bin when sent by the Android client.

For example, the file "filename.dbf" is sent as "filename.dbf.bin."

The content of the file is not lost when renaming it.

This error does not occur when uploading via the iOS client or web interface.

Is it always the same type of files?
Is it dependent on the size of the file?
Are you sure there is not something in between android and the server that could cause this?

This is the current version from F-Droid/Play Store?

Could u try purging the Storage and memory by holding the app icon -> infos ? and reproduce
