Describe the bug
Starting from MTA 1.6 rc23678, the client is no longer able to successfully join any server, including localhost servers.
-
The MTA client main window launches normally, and works as expected. However, when attempting to join a server, the client shows “Network trouble”, then disconnects and closes shortly after. No explicit error or crash is reported in the client logs.
-
The last known working build is rc23677. Downgrading to rc23677 restores normal behaviour immediately.
-
This issue is reproducible and occurs consistently on every server (including local server) join attempt.
Steps to reproduce
-
Install MTA 1.6 rc23678 (or any newer nightly build).
-
Launch the MTA client normally.
-
Attempt to join:
-
any public server, or a locally hosted server (127.0.0.1).
Observe that:
-
the client shows “Network trouble” shortly after connecting,
-
the client disconnects and exits, no explicit error or crash reason appears in the logs.
-
Downgrade the client to rc23677. Repeat steps 2–3 and observe that server connections work normally.
