The connection to the remote MySQL keeps spinning

When I tried to connect to a remote MySQL database, after filling in all the configuration information, the connection page kept spinning, preventing me from proceeding. I apologize for not being able to take screenshots as I don't want to reveal the connection details.

# Replace the values below with your actual connection parameters:
mysql -u <USER> -p'<PASSWORD>' -h <HOST> -P <PORT> -D <DATABASE> -e "SELECT 1;"

to check if mysql connect in your commandline? This will help understand if the bug is in connector or permission issue from mysql

I'm very sorry for the late reply. I ran your command and it connected successfully. I usually use DataGrip to connect.

Thanks for the feedback! I suspect it's an issue in duckdb, so we updated the implementation to use pymysql to connect to mysql.
