Cloud filter API - how to trigger a fetch placeholders for an arbitrary folder?

I have noticed that if I try to enumerate files under a placeholder folder which has "enable on demand" fetch flag set, I get no files until I manually traverse into that folder using explorer.

Is there some function I am meant to call first to trigger the placeholders to be fetched?

@zy1233 thanks, it didn't work for me, but then I found that if I run this code from %systemroot% it does work - I discovered this via a clue here https://stackoverflow.com/questions/59152220/cant-get-reparse-point-information-for-the-onedrive-folder

I still don't have a solution for my own program though... I can't put it under systemroot

It's very strange, my test program apparently doesn't in systemroot, but it works. According to the documentation, sync engines or under systemroot, but in my sync engines ,it didn't work.
