Description
Converting a RAK4631/RAK19007 node w/ meshtastic pre-installed to MeshCore and took like 3 days of fiddling to get the thing to turn on. After removing everything off of the board, the culprit was the RAK13009 chip which connected to an OLED screen. When the OLED screen is unplugged from the chip the unit boots up and runs just fine. I ran the OLED to the RAK19007 pinouts and it boots up just fine with the screen working. So I think the issue is something in the software crashing when the OLED is connected through the RAK 13009 chip.
Hoping it's an easy fix so others coming from a pre-installed meshtastic board don't get turned off from MeshCore.
This is the OLED kit that doesn't work.
