Feature Proposal: Peek link content with Spacebar to reduce tab clutter

Hello! I've developed a macOS-inspired 'Quick Look' feature that allows users to preview links by pressing Spacebar while hovering over a card. It uses declarativeNetRequest to handle iframe headers. I’ve already tested the build locally. Is this something the project would be interested in? If so, I’m happy to open a PR!
Inspiration was due to the fact that sometimes I happen to open some posts only to find that they require a subscription.

Can the declarativeNetRequest permission be requested at runtime? Including it in the manifest could confuse users, since it may not be obvious why a developer news extension would need that permission.
