Error Code 1!

adb shell am start -n tk.elevenk.proxysetter/.MainActivity -e host 127.0.0.1 -e port 8080 -e ssid MyWifi -e bypass test.com -e reset-wifi true -e key passsworrrd, displays the Error Code 2

And by adb shell am start -n tk.elevenk.proxysetter/.MainActivity -e host 127.0.0.1 -e port 8080 -e ssid MyWifi -e bypass test.com -e reset-wifi true -e key passsworrrd -e clear true, displays no error but doesn't set the proxy

and after I clear the proxy and then run the first command, it displays Error Code 1!

Hello. I don't maintain this project anymore, but if you look at the logs on the actual device it will give you more info as to what happened. Error code 1 just means it couldn't set the proxy and you have to look at the logs on the device to see why.

Hi, i know this is a few years old but maybe it'll help someone.
I was having similar issues. After reading other issues, turns out in v 6 OS apps cannot change WiFi settings set by user or another app.

The work around is to create another wifi network, SSID "WiFi B", and use this new SSID in adb command. This way ProxySetter app will be able to set the connection.

There is no need for wifi-reset but might have to clear first.

If you don't want to have another wifi network broadcasting, then connect your device to "WiFi B", forget "WiFi A" on the device, connect ProxySetter with "WiFi A" in the adb string, shouldn't be any errors, and turn off "WiFi B" network.

Or if you can connect via USB, then forget the wifi the device is connected to and run adb with your wifi settings. I don't use USB so haven't tried it this way but i think it should work fine.

As long as the wifi connection in adb command is not set on the device everything should work fine.
