[bug] Jank when turning microphone on and off

Describe the bug

All the red spikes are when turning the microphone on/off.

To Reproduce

On another client, toggle the microphone. There is a jank when showing/hiding the visualizer.

Expected behavior

No jank when disposing or initializing the audio visualizer.

I believe using JNI to talk to the native platform and not rely on event channels will improve performance significantly.

Mic on/off creates bigger jank on iOS. App becomes unusable. Tried everything but couldn't fix it.
