Sticky note out of display boundaries

No idea if this is inherently a sticky problem: I managed to get a sticky note out of my display boundaries:

You are seeing my three screens (colored), and in the lower right corner, outside of all screens, a sticky note. I am using virtual desktops, this is part of a screenshot from the overview page. Because I seldomly use the overview page I was thinking that the note had "disappeared".
Not sure how the sticky note wound up there.

Workaround: removing all screens but one made the sticky note appear on that screen. Moving the sticky note around, then re-adding the screens fixed the problem. The moving around part was important, otherwise it would show on the single screen, but not when all screens are connected.

I recently fixed this problem for new notes, but in retrospect, I don't think it will work for existing ones. It shouldn't be too difficult (famous last words maybe?). Hopefully I can get to this soon.
