Bug description
When trying to change the entered password from hidden to viewable or back in the authentication required prompt cinnamon crashes and enters fallback mode. I couldn't find a really consistent way to execute the bug although it happens most of the times and it is more surprising right now if it works, than if it crashes...
Steps to reproduce
The most consistent I could reproduce the bug was using my touch screen to click on the eye with a (wrong) password longer than 21 characters. But only typing a's didn't work either... Short passwords are more unlikely to crash. And sometimes one direction works but then hiding crashes, but if both directions work first time it's not going to crash
Expected behavior
The dots that are hiding the characters should turn to the characters or vice versa
