Physical Click not detected on Surface Laptop 7 #197

Device: Surface Laptop 7 for Business (2024 model)
OS: Linux Mint 21.3

Problem Description:
The physical "hard press" click on the touchpad is not detected by the system. Basic pointer movement and tap-to-click gestures are working correctly.
Diagnostic Info:
Running sudo libinput debug-events on the touchpad device node shows events for surface touches and movement, but shows no events at all for a physical button press. This confirms the issue is with the iptsd driver not processing the mechanical click event.
