Long press should say what button does

Here I am all nervous about what the curious top button does, the one with the circle with the plus in it. (Sort of reminds me of a similar button discussed recently. But never mind that. And in fact it has two circles in it so is quite different.)

Anyway the only way for me to learn about what it does, without needing to look in some manual, is to long press it. Right?

Alas, that does nothing.

It should show me some pop up saying what it does.

Yes I know I could just cross my fingers and then with the other hand just tap it. That would certainly show me what it does. But that would take all the fun out of it wouldn't it now? Haha.

Naturally, even the simple plus and minus buttons need the same long press explanation functionality. I mean who says that everybody knows everything in the first place.
