Add support to go to the team definition in github/gitlab/...

When I do a "Go to definition" on a line of a CODEOWNERS that is defined as a team "@github-org/sub-team", I would like to go to the place where the list of person is defined.

When I do a "Go to definition" on a profile, I would like to go to the user profile in GitHub/GitLab of this person (to find a way to contact the person for instance).

Could you prove a link to the web gitlab owners list?

As far as I remember there are possible nested teams like @org/team/sub-team for gitlab.

Also thinking about opening the browser on click. Is it correct behavior? What about if I add it to the mouse context menu? Right click -> Open in Web or kind of this

When you say "prove a link to the web" do you mean like checking if the http response got a valid response code?
It is possible to have nested team indeed.

Opening in one click could work for me, context menu could also be nice to mimick the open in github feature.

I did the feature for the GitHub, but then faced with the problem. How can I identify the server type?
GitHub+selfhosted enterprise/Gitlab/Bitbucket/Gitee/etc?

Would the user agent of the answer be helpful? Or having in option a form for the user to fill up

User agent of the server response will be Java client :)
There are options:

• match host name, otherwise "gitlab"
• make http requests to probe a server
• let user decide with a form selector/etc

The first option is preferred, but covers some of cases.
The second option is also good, but requires additional I/O.
The last option requires user engagement, which is unnecessary for such case and the best way to do all the things automatically.

Any other options?
