Official cyanogenmod submission?

Since we're now nearing a stable release, I think we should consider submitting the work to the official cyanogenmod repos. What do you guys think?
Also, does anyone have any experience doing this? I'd assume we submit it to gerrit but I'm not sure.

Would be nice having only one official cyanogen submission so all the dev could work in only one branch!

I think this should be submitted as official. It has a few bad bugs, but the involvement from everyone is great.

I contacted someone from CM a few weeks ago and he said they are going to check it out...I'll update when I hear something.

Any news on this? The code freeze for CM9 has started and it would be great if we could get in there for the first release.

Got a couple of niggly issues we'd really need to get nailed, but perhaps there's some other CM gurus who could lend a hand to get them sorted?
