Missing files in release tarball for 1.8

Hi,

Trying to use CMake results in:

CMake Error: File /usr/ports/devel/libconfig/work/libconfig-1.8/lib/libconfig.pc.cmake.in does not exist.
CMake Error at lib/CMakeLists.txt:153 (configure_file):
  configure_file Problem configuring file


CMake Error: File /usr/ports/devel/libconfig/work/libconfig-1.8/lib/libconfig++.pc.cmake.in does not exist.
CMake Error at lib/CMakeLists.txt:158 (configure_file):
  configure_file Problem configuring file

Using the release tarball located here:

I don't maintain the cmake files. These were contributed by others.
Someone with cmake experience will need to update them.

They aren't included in the release tarball, it works fine if you fetch it from the git repo.

those are not the only files missing in the release tarballs:

example4.c:32:10: fatal error: pathbuf.h: No such file or directory

It'll need to be added on line 17 of examples/c/Makefile.am

The problem is that examples/c/pathbuf.h is not present in the tarball

It seems that the tarball for 1.8.1 has been updated to include the missing files:

However, modifying the tarball in place has the potential to cause a number of problems. For example, the Buildroot build system verifies the checksums of the sources it downloads and this is now causing build issues, see https://autobuild.buildroot.org/results/89b/89b15ed871a7d8e2a789d1d9a1bab11b7f50274b/build-end.log for example. Simply changing this in place is a bit iffy because the old data is being cached and invalidating this requires manual intervention by users.

@hyperrealm could you maybe make another point release to give everybody a clean upgrade path?

I've released 1.8.2
