Shift Click on HierarchyTree eyeball affordance #54

@jhellerstein

Description

@jhellerstein

The HierarchyTree supports an eyeball icon to show/hide subtrees and subgraphs. It also supports a shift-click feature: when you hold down shift and click, all the OTHER subtrees except the one you click on are hidden.

It's not at all obvious that this feature exists or what shift-click might do.

We need a design and implementation of a canonical UI experience for this. Presumably something should happen upon Shift that lets the user know that clicking will result in other subtrees disappearing.
