Set max visible depth of treeview

Clear and concise description of the problem

Hey there, one of our tools, which currently still use the super old Kendo Grid, will be replaced with Slickgrid. One of the features it had though (granted it was a custom made one) is to limit the visible depth of the tree.

So I thought it might be a fitting feature for the Treeview as well

There are a few things to consider here, e.g like how the Export or FilterService is affected, but we can go into detail on this later on.

oh man I hope not to have to work on Tree again, I took months to make it work 😅
If you have a way to do it, then sure I'm open to PR since yes having a max depth can certainly be useful for some users

sure, I can prep a PR for this since I'm gonna need it anyways. but this will take some time. if you're fine I'd keep the issue open so I can reference it in our internal issue tracker

yeah sure do it at your own pace, I'll be releasing a v10 Beta by the end of the week or early next week. Then I'll merge the next branch to master. So I'm not sure if that would affect you, but probably good to know... I'm working on the fix for inner tooltip, just need to guide copilot for updating the test now 😆

since you're using Copilot as well, might think of adding an instructions file https://docs.github.com/en/copilot/how-tos/configure-custom-instructions/add-repository-instructions

this could simplify the start of new sessions as the general overview is provided in consistent manner, for contributors as well

oh yeah make sense, I never really looked at these kind of agent skills but sure, so I asked copilot to generate one and modified it over a few pass, it seems decent now, feel free to update it. see commit 63435b7

export is always WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get), so it should be fine.
