New attributes created inside a part are not automatically selected

Steps to reproduce

1. Create a new empty SysML project
2. Create a part (or part def)
3. Right-click on the part, and inoke the "New Attribute" tool

Expected result: the new attribute is created and automatically selected so that the user can immediately interact with it.

Actual result: the attribute is correctly created and displayed, but not selected. The user must explicitly select it afterward to e.g. give it a meaningful name.

Note that despite the title & description, this is probably more general and affect types/tools other than just attributes.

My initial analysis: creation tools do not specify an explicit elementsToSelectExpression, and do not benefit from the automatic detection of instances created by the tool because this only works when such new instances are created using the Create Instance operation, which is not the case here.

Confirmed.

When I create an attribute usage at the top-level of a diagram, the tool executed creates the AttributeUsage instance using a Create Instance model operation, which keeps track of the newly created instance for the default value of the newSelection to return:

However, when I creat an attribute usage inside a part, the creation tool is implemented differently, through the aql:self.createCompartmentItem('nestedAttribute') expression:

I have a possible fix, but it involves a small change in Sirius Web that I'm not yet sure is a good idea. I need to think about it a little more.

The required enhancement in Sirius Web has been merged, but will only be available in 2025.12.2, so until this has been released and SysON has switched to it, the work is paused.
