Update antd, react, and vscode-messenger dependencies

We should update antd and react (peer) dependencies as part of an overall refresh of dependencies.
Slightly more effort is expected due to

• css updates from antd
• API changes in react and react-dom (major version updates).
• vscode-messenger parts, these turned out to cause trouble, hence need a bit of debugging.

Should not block releases, but catching up rather sooner than later would be beneficial.

Just to add more, the change to antd would remove dependency on @vscode/webview-ui-toolkit, which has been explicitly deprecated upstream. While this does not pose an immediate problem, it introduces a medium risk as future VS Code updates may expose compatibility issues.
